SOUTHERN PINES — It was a good start to the season for both of Richmond Senior High School’s bowling teams Thursday.
Beginning their season at Sandhills Bowling Center, the Raiders and Lady Raiders both went 2-0 against Southern Lee and Union Pines high schools.
The Raiders earned a pair of 3-2 wins over the Cavaliers and Vikings, winning both times thanks to the final pin count.
In their two wins, the Lady Raiders defeated the Lady Cavs 5-0 and knocked off the Lady Vikings 4-1.
