SOUTHERN PINES — A lot of Richmond’s Green and Gold led in the final heats of Thursday’s track and field meet.
The Raiders and Lady Raiders competed in their second Sandhills Athletic Conference meet of the season at Pinecrest High School.
Among the other participating schools were Scotland High School and non-conference Jordan Matthews High School.
Some of Richmond’s first-place finishes were both 4x200-meter relay teams and senior Amariah Gibson (100-meter dash).
Official results of the meet were not available at the time of publication. The Richmond Observer will publish full articles for both teams once they’re finalized.
Richmond will host a conference meet next Thursday. Events will begin at 4:30 p.m.
