Porcha Martin of Rockingham won the Conductor's Call competition at the 42nd annual Seaboard Festival in downtown Hamlet on Oct. 27.
Martin said she came in second place several years back.
Her competitors in the adult division included a man dressed as an engineer with a train whistle, a man with a harmonica and Scuba Steve dressed as Michael Jackson.
There were also three winners in the children's division
Prior to the contest, title sponsor REV Federal Credit Union presented checks of $1,500 each to the Richmond County Partnership for Children and United Way of Richmond County.
