ROCKINGHAM — Police are investigating an early morning shooting that sent two people to a hospital.
According to the Rockingham Police Department, officers responded to a call just after 4 a.m. Friday after shots were fired into a Cox Street home.
Two people were reportedly struck by gunfire. The victims were taken to the hospital then airlifted “to other locations for treatment.”
Police say the case is still under investigation and no additional details are available.
