ROCKINGHAM — To celebrate a successful season, the Raider Youth Football Program will hold a celebration on Saturday.

Announced by program president Errol Hood, the end-of-season party will be held Saturday, Feb. 29, in Richmond Senior High School’s cafeteria. It will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. and is open to all players on all four teams, coaches and their families.

The event will also serve as the kickoff party for the 2020 season. Hood will be stepping down as the head of the program.

Those in attendance will have access to free pizza and refreshments, including snacks and dessert.

Hood is asking that parents RSVP to the event to reserve their player’s spot as soon as possible so he knows how much pizza to order. He added that if equipment needs to be returned in order to receive an identification card back, or if a player’s team pictures need picked up, both will be available on Saturday.

“We need parent volunteers to help make this celebration an awesome experience,” Hood said. “Anyone interested in donating your time, any drinks or snacks for this event, please contact myself (910-331-6896) or Ben Monroe (910-206-1094).
