ROCKINGHAM — Another one of Richmond Senior High School’s athletic programs will host a summer development camp next month.
The Raider cheerleading program is set to host campers for four days between July 27 and July 30 in the school’s gymnasiums.
Under the direction of second-year head coach Cassie Tyler, the camp is open to interested girls and boys ages 3-15.
Last summer, approximately 170 campers participated in the four-day event, making it the largest camp of the year.
Each daily session will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Middle school teams are encouraged to attend, as well.
As per cheer camp tradition, the week will culminate in each age group’s final routine performance Thursday starting at 10:30 a.m.
The price per camper this summer is $65 and a pre-registration is currently open. To register online, there is a $4.25 processing fee.

Helping with instruction for all age groups will be members of Richmond’s varsity and junior varsity cheer teams.
