ROCKINGHAM — A reward is being offered in an effort to help bring a teenage girl home.
The Rockingham Police Department on Tuesday posted to its Facebook page that a $4,500 reward is being offered to information leading to the location and return of 15-year-old Adrianna Sunshine Matthews.
Matthews, whose last known location was on Williamsburg Drive in the Richmond Park neighborhood around 2 a.m. Jan. 8.
According to the missing poster, Matthews is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has dark brown hair (initially reported as black) but is known to dye it. Other photos that have been posted feature her with blonde hair.
Matthews also has a nose piercing and a scar over her left eye.
Investigators released a few new details last week, saying Matthews may be wearing a pair of black Ugg shoes and carrying a blanket featuring a collage of photos of her cat.
There is also a $1,500 reward for information on the whereabouts of 67-year-old Dennis Wayne Bailey.
Bailey, who was known to walk along Mizpah Road, was last seen Dec. 28, but wasn’t reported missing until Jan. 2.
Investigators say Bailey does not have a vehicle and was possibly wearing black and red puffy jacket.
Another Richmond County resident, 77-year-old Linda Ann McCuiston, was last seen near her home on Country Canyon Drive near Cordova on Oct. 11, 2024.
The Bailey and McCuiston cases are being investigated by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
