ROCKINGHAM – The Richmond County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 15 to celebrate five years of business for Noah’s Place.
Noah’s Place has become a beloved local restaurant, known for its welcoming atmosphere and consistent support of the community. The Chamber event brought together local leaders and loyal patrons to honor the restaurant’s growth and ongoing success.
Chamber President and CEO Kristi King opened the ceremony by thanking everyone for attending.
“It’s one of my favorite places and we’re grateful for the partnership we have with you all through the Chamber and excited to celebrate this moment with you,” King said.
Rockingham Mayor John Hutchinson spoke about the restaurant’s significance to the community.
“I would be here whether it was a ribbon cutting or not," the mayor said. "Because we love Noah’s Place, we’re here frequently. We discovered it at the old location and have followed it to the new location and are just excited about the growth you’ve had.”
Hutchinson continued by highlighting the restaurant’s impact on the local dining scene.
“The restaurant industry is not easy. We see a lot of restaurants that come and go, and Noah’s Place has quickly become a fixture in Rockingham and Richmond County, and one of the major restaurants we turn to.”
Richmond County Commissioner Andy Grooms expressed appreciation on behalf of the Board of Commissioners.
“The board of commissioners wishes you all the luck,” Grooms said. “It is all about the community. You have invested in the community and we are very grateful for that.”
Owner Noé López-Santiago closed the event by thanking everyone in the community for always supporting Noah’s Place.
