RICHMOND COUNTY - The following news release was just posted by Richmond County Schools:
Upon consulting with our transportation team and safety officials, RCS district leaders have determined that Richmond County Schools will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, September 19th with a 2-hour delay for staff and students.
Please be advised, there are a few closed or washed out roads that buses cannot safely travel. If your home is still without power or if you feel that there is no safe way for your children to get to school, absences will be excused.
This has been a challenging few days for our community but together, we have successfully weathered the storm.We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, and thank you for you understanding and cooperation during this time.
