ROCKINGHAM — A woman is facing felony charges after allegedly stealing appliances.

According to an arrest warrant, 55-year-old Charlotte Lesesne Clark (booked as Charlotte Rebekah Clark) broke into a building on Gattis Street in the Cordova area on July 2, stealing a washer and dryer.

Records show Clark also lives on Gattis Street.

The warrant — charging her with breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering — was issued July 3 and Clark was arrested July 8.

Clark was booked into the Richmond County Jail where she is being held on a $25,000 secured bond. She is scheduled to appear in court July 17.

Court records show Clark has a pending charge of felony larceny in Moore County for allegedly stealing more than $1,200 worth of clothing, perfume and jewelry from Women’s Belk in Southern Pines.

The following year, Clark was convicted on two counts of misdemeanor larceny and one count each of felony larceny and assault with attempt to inflict serious injury.

Her record is clear through the ‘90s, however Clark was convicted on two counts of keeping hired property in 2000 and uttering a forged instrument the following year.
