ROCKINGHAM — Air pistols were reportedly used during an incident near the local McDonald’s earlier in the week.
According to investigators with the Rockingham Police Department, the guns that were used — and seen in a video — have been identified as low velocity air pistols and have been recovered.
No injuries were reported, but Chief George Gillenwater previously told the RO that there was damage to the victim’s vehicle. The chief also said the incident was domestic related.
A video posted to social media appears to show two young males shooting from the passenger side of a red car near the Rockingham McDonald’s.
Investigators say all individuals involved have been identified and are all juveniles, under the age of 18, so no names will be publicly released.
The RPD is seeking juvenile petitions for all involved and charges are pending.
