ROCKINGHAM — Mrs. Rosemarie Josephine LaBonte Liles, 86, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at her residence.
She was born in Superior, Wisconsin, Dec. 28, 1934, daughter of Paul A. LaBonte and Dorothy Williams LaBonte.
Mrs. Liles loved the fall of the year as leaves began to change their colors. A very talented woman when it came to quilting and crocheting. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. There will be a void in our life no one else can fill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Bobby Lee Liles Sr.
Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Hale of the home and Susan Lambert of Illinois; son, Bobby L. Liles Jr. (Kay) of Rockingham; sisters, Bonnie Cloer of Statesville, Jeannie Board of Missouri and Peggy York of Illinois; seven grandchildren, Danny Liles, Melissa Poplin, Dorothy Lambert, Joshua Hale, Arin Grubbs (Kendell), Zachary Hale, Stefani Hale and Kaleb Liles (Amber); nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial Service will be Sunday, April 25, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Lighthouse Ministries, Hwy. 177,Wallace, SC.
