ROCKINGHAM – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office arrested three Covington Road residents on Monday, July 16th.
Deputies responded to a call of suspected drug activity at a residence on Covington Road in Rockingham and, while attempting to determine whether anyone was inside, detected an open bag on the porch containing drug paraphernalia common to the manufacture of methamphetamine.
All three of the occupants were charged with the manufacture of methamphetamine and processed into the Richmond County Jail under a secured bond of $40,000.
Those individuals were:
Edward Carroll Hilton, 60, Billy Covington Rd. Rockingham;
Thomas Wade Hilton, 54, Billy Covington Rd. Rockingham; and
Vickie Lynn Davis, 62, Billy Covington Rd. Rockingham.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI) was contacted to assist with the processing of the crime scene and the associated collection of evidence.
All defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
