Saturday afternoon at 5:59 p.m. the Cordova Fire and Rescue was dispatched to a single vehicle accident just beyond the Snead’s Mill Road and Highway 1 South intersection.
The driver of a burgundy Ford Fusion stated that a blown right front tire caused him to loose control, careen across the north bound lane and subsequently flip over in a ditch.
He was examined at the scene by First Health EMS medics and did not need any further medical attention.
