ROCKINGHAM — Mrs. Tilly Ann Skipper, 66, of Rockingham, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond.
Mrs. Skipper was born Oct. 21, 1955, in San Diego, California, daughter of the late Wilbur and Rosemary Snider.
She was a homemaker most all of her life and a member of Roberdel Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian and loved people. She was gifted in crafts, especially needlepoint and cross stitching.
Mrs. Skipper was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Rosemary Grootonk Snider.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Lonnie B. Skipper Jr., of the home; sons, Jeffrey Bryan Skipper, Jason Matthew Skipper, and Daniel Alexander Skipper, all of Rockingham, and Lonnie B. Skipper III (Katie) of Albemarle; and sister, Eugenia Snider of Arizona.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022 at 4 p.m. at Roberdel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
