ELLERBE — Even in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, Ellerbe Middle School’s administrators and athletic director Allen Adeimy tried to maintain some sense of normalcy with their end-of-the-year athletic awards.
Each sports’ head coach selected and recognized their top athletes, which were then revealed online earlier this week. Also, a top male and female athlete was chosen for each grade level.
Not included are spring sports awards, as the decision was made not to give them out since the season was cut short in March.
