Young Living Essential Oils Introduces New Products

ROCKINGHAM - If you had stopped by Dunkin’ Donuts on Highway 74 in Rockingham last Saturday morning, you may have seen a group of ladies talking, but it wasn’t about the newest coffee or donut flavors. Their topic of conversation was the new line of Young Living Essential Oils which was introduced last month in Salt Lake City, Utah, to over 30,000 people at the annual national convention.

Advertised as “the best essential oils on the planet,” the company has corporate and partner farms and distilleries all over the globe, including Ecuador, France, Croatia, Australia, Bulgaria, and six in the United States presently. Its mission statement is to “Honor our stewardship to champion nature’s living energy, essential oils, by fostering a community of healing and discovery while inspiring individuals to wellness, purpose, and abundance.”

Gary Young, the founder of Young Living Essential Oils, grew up in poverty in the mountains of Idaho. Throughout his life he turned trials into triumphs, with a sense of perseverance, achieving the impossible, and working towards a mission of taking essential oils worldwide.

Rebecca Bowdren, Ashleigh Hudson, and Grace Clewis arrived early to set up the display for the others in their group who sell-and purchase for themselves and their families- the Young Living Essential Oils products. Their team, which includes approximately 250 members, many in Richmond County but in other parts of the state as well, is known as “The Grove.”

Bowden shared that the company began with the focus on the essential oils themselves, but now offers a wide variety, ranging from hair and beauty products, cleaning products, hormones, kids and babies products, supplements, beverages, and cereals. The oils can be used topically, internally, and aromatically. When utilizing the diffuser, combinations of oils can produce a variety of effects, from waking up to chasing away the blues to getting rid of odors.

A cherry-colored beverage, NingXia Red, was served chilled from a tall bottle and was well-received. It is also available in individual pouches. One ounce has the antioxidant power of a multitude of carrots, oranges, beets, raspberries, and blueberries. Antioxidants are helpful with combatting and slowing down the aging process.

The women shared experiences between themselves relating to products they have been using successfully, and recommending others to their friends, while checking out the newly released products on display. If you are interested in learning more about the products offered by Young Living Essential Oils or attending one of their informational meetings, feel free to contact Rebecca Bowdren at (843) 830-6191. She would love to hear from you!
