Erick Matthew Sellers, 40, of Bennettsville, South Carolina, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 13, 1983, along with his twin brother, Derrick, in Scotland County, son of Brenda Paul Sellers and the late William “Bill” Frank Sellers.
Erick worked in landscaping and enjoyed his work. He attended Nebo Wesleyan Church in Hamlet. He loved playing his Nintendo Wii and was an avid bowler. He and his brother, Derrick, were always the life of the party and loved joking around. His most important part of his life was his family, especially his two daughters, who were the apple of his eye.
Along with his father, Erick was preceded in death by his brother, Big John Leviner; and grandparents, Johnny and Sadie Sellers, and Johnny and Bea Paul.
Erick is survived by his daughters, Erica Sellers and Nicole Sellers; mother, Brenda Paul Sellers of Bennettsville, South Carolina; brothers, Robin Leviner (Samantha) of Hamlet, Shannon Leviner (Tammy) of Athens, Tennessee, and his twin brother, Derrick Sellers (Kimberly) of Bennettsville, South Carolina; sisters, Tonya McLendon (Jeff) of Cheraw, South Carolina, and Karen Griggs (Timothy) of Patrick, South Carolina; mother of his daughters, Shannon Carr Sellers; and numerous extended family that loved him.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at Nebo Wesleyan Church, Hamlet.
The funeral service will be Friday, May 3, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Nebo Wesleyan Church with Pastor Jeff Collins and the Rev. Shannon Leviner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the family home, Lightwood Road, Bennettsville, South Carolina.
