Michael Philip Hinson Sr., 68, of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.
He was born Oct. 26, 1955, in Richmond County, son of the late Eddie Vance Hinson Jr. and Eula Mae Hood Hinson.
Michael was a veteran of the United States Army. After serving in the military, he worked many years as a long-distance truck driver. He was a people person and enjoyed making conversations with everyone.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Ladonna Hinson.
Michael is survived by his son, Michael Philip Hinson Jr. (Missy) of Shallotte; daughter, Mishel Hinson; stepdaughter, Anita Brown (Bruce) of Rockingham; stepsons, Chris Austin (Rhonda) and Earl William Jr.; two grandchildren; and brothers, Eddie V. Hinson and Charles Hinson.
All services will be private.
