Louis Daniel Parker, 71, of Rockingham passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
He is survived by his children, Louis D. Parker Jr., Juanita J. Garcia, Amanda R. Parker, Gail L. Parker; stepchildren, Candice Smith, David Heaton and Sarah Hunt; 22 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; one brother, Edward Parker of Wadesboro; Emma Lee Sutton of Thomasville and Christine Lisk of Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Saries Parker and Julia Mae Parker; one son, Jeremy K. Parker; one great-grandson, Maddox Webb; two, brothers Harold Parker and Howard Parker; and three sisters, Janie P. Smith, Alma P. Plowman and Patricia P McColl.
Louis was loved by so many people. He had a heart of gold. He loved his family and two dogs, Lulu and Buddy. He enjoyed fishing and being outside. He also enjoyed working with his hands.
His children and family will miss him so very much.
