Police say the man is also suspected of stealing from “a local retail establishment” on Wednesday. Officers responding to that scene reportedly spotted the suspect, who led them on a foot chase.

Anyone who may be able to identify the man is encouraged to contact the Hamlet Police Department through Facebook or by calling 910-582-2551 or Richmond County Crime Stoppers at 910-997-5454.
