Hamlet Police trying to ID suspect in car dealership break-in

Police are trying to identify this man, who they say broke into a car dealership early Saturday.

HAMLET — Police are hoping someone can identify the individual responsible for breaking into buildings at a local car dealership.

Investigators with the Hamlet Police Department say a man broke into the office and shop of Unique Auto Sales, near City Lake, sometime between 4 and 5 a.m. Saturday and that several items were reported stolen.

The suspect reportedly left the scene on foot.

The department posted a still from surveillance video of the suspect on its Facebook page.
