2 Richmond County sheriff’s deputies promoted

ROCKINGHAM — Two deputies of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office earned a little more prestige on Tuesday.

Sheriff James Clemmons promoted Sgt. Josh Chermak to the rank of lieutenant and Deputy Paul McDole to the rank of sergeant.

Both Chermak and McDole are assigned to the patrol division and are K-9 handlers with the sheriff’s office.
