PINEHURST — Following pelvic floor injuries sustained during the birth of her second son, former FirstHealth of the Carolinas nurse Laura Fong, R.N., BSN, thought enduring pelvic pain, discomfort and incontinence would be part of her life. After meeting with FirstHealth urogynecologist Janet Harris-Hicks, M.D., she realized that was not the case.
