ROCKINGHAM – Press Release from Rockingham Police Department:
Lacy Morgan (10/07/1982) died early Thursday morning, July 5th, of wounds that he sustained in an incident that the Rockingham Police Department continues to investigate.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation and a suspect has been questioned in regards to the incident but no one has been charged in the incident at this time.

In an unrelated release, the City of Rockingham had a successful Independence day with no citizens reporting any injuries thus far and no one was cited for infractions stemming from celebrating the day.
