BREAKING: RCS to Operate on Two-Hour Delay Tuesday, January 9, for Students and Faculty

HAMLET – Richmond County Schools’ students will be back in the classroom after a short winter storm hiatus Superintendent Dr. Cindy Goodman announced Monday afternoon.

All students and faculty will operate on a two-hour delay schedule on Tuesday, January 9.

According to the district, buses will run regular routes, but the district has instructed drivers to use discretion while driving and to avoid some lingering slick spots. Routes may take longer to run.

Also, breakfast will be available to students upon arrival at school.
