FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams Working Richmond County

Rockingham, NC-FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams began working around Richmond County on Wednesday, October 3rd at 09:00 AM.

They began working in Rockingham and Hamlet and will move throughout the county over the next week or two.

FEMA employees will be wearing vests and carrying federally issued IDs with a data chip.

These IDs will also have a hologram that will be visible when turned to the side.

FEMA representatives will not be asking for money or payment of any kind.

Be aware of potential scammers and make sure any personal information that you are sharing is necessary for FEMA purposes and is provided only to persons with official identification.

If you are uncertain and would like to verify the credentials of any FEMA representative, please call 9-1-1.
