Newborn Vernez McGregor Jr. is already stealing hearts as FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital’s first Valentine’s Day baby of 2018.
Little Vernez is shown sporting a little red hat that was donated by the American Heart Association in connection with The Children’s Heart Foundation. Hospitals nationwide are participating in the “Little Hats, Big Hearts” program, an American Heart Month program designed to empower moms to live heart-healthy lives while helping their children to do the same.

Little Vernez is the son of Vernez and Kantaina McGregor of Raeford (both pictured), and was delivered by Pamela Kantorowski, M.D., with Southern Pines Women’s Health Center, a FirstHealth Clinic.
