Richmond County Sheriff’s Department Makes Drug Arrest

ROCKINGHAM – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Department reports that a drug arrest was made on Tuesday,  February 20th.

Amy L. Parker, 36, of Garrett Street in Rockingham was arrested and charged with selling a Schedule IV controlled substance; delivery of a Schedule IV controlled substance; maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling and delivering a controlled substance; sale of a Schedule VI controlled substance; delivery of a Schedule VI controlled substance; and possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance.

Parker was arrested subsequent to a controlled purchase of prescription pills and suspected marijuana.

Parker was booked into the Richmond County Jail and later released under a $20,000 secured bond.
