Another drug-related arrest was conducted on Monday, June 11th.  Deputies arrested Victoria Raquel Clayton, 35, of Hatcher Road, Rockingham and charged her with the manufacture of methamphetamine; five counts of possession of precursors for the manufacture of methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; and child abuse.

The child abuse charge was precipitated by the fact that Clayton had children present in the home at the time of the methamphetamine manufacture.

Clayton was processed into the Richmond County Detention Center to await trial under a secured bond of $55,000.

Defendants are presumed innocent of all charges until proven guilty in a court of law.
