Rockingham Development Corporation Invites Attendees Tonight

ROCKINGHAM – What are the purposes of the Rockingham Downtown Corporation?  Well, come on out to Hudson Brothers’ Deli this evening (Tuesday/15th) at 5:00 p.m. and see for yourself!

Headed by current President John Hutchinson and coordinated by previous President Susan Kelley, the RDC officers are:

The RDC will be conducting business tonight in accordance with the following agenda:

And, just in case you are unable to come by and hear the plans and objectives that the RDC is focusing upon, here is the listing:

  • To promote the historic preservation of the downtown area.
  • To take remedial actions to eliminate the physical, economic and social deterioration of downtown.
  • To disseminate information of and promote interest in the preservation, history, culture, architecture and public use of the downtown area.
  • To hold meetings and events to instruct the members and the public in these activities and enhance appreciation of the history and culture of downtown.
  • To aid, work with and participate in the activities of other organizations with similar purposes. and
  • To solicit, receive and administer funds to promote the purposes of the Corporation.
