Rockingham Police seek identification of larceny suspect

RPD

ROCKINGHAM — Police are asking for help identifying a larceny suspect.

The Rockingham Police Department on Friday posted several photos to its Facebook page of a male subject suspected of stealing from a local retail business.

While police do not identify the name of the retailer, the photos of security video show that it is Walmart.

Police also do not list the offense date.

The timestamp on the video shows the individual entering the store around 10:08 a.m. on Sept. 24, which, as some Facebook users have jokingly pointed out, is several days in the future.

Anyone who can identify the suspect is encouraged to contact the Rockingham Police Department at 910-895-2468 or Richmond County Crime Stoppers at 910-997-5454.
