Silver Alert issued for Pinehurst woman

PINEHURST — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Moore County Woman.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued the alert at 10:17 a.m. Thursday for 56-year-old Corrine Ruth Silva.

She is is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, according to a press release.

Silva was last seen on Wilshire Lane in Pinehurst. No date, time or direction of travel was given.

She is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs approximately 144 pounds and has gray shoulder-length hair.
