Champs: Murphy Chiropractic earns baseball title

ROCKINGHAM — The Rockingham Parks and Recreation baseball season came to an end on Friday with Murphy Chiropractic earning a championship win.

Playing at Bynum Field, Murphy Chiropractic defeated Joey’s Distribution 10-4 to claim the 9 to 11-year old title.

Earning the win on the mound was Dan Hall III. This year’s championship team was coached by Dan Hall and assisted by pastor Eddie McLean.

Murphy Chiropractic was also the regular-season champion, finishing with a 9-1 overall record. The team’s lone loss of the season came against Dieffenbach Chevrolet.
