Nichols Performance Center wins Rockingham Parks and Recreation coach pitch championship

ROCKINGHAM — There’s a new champion of the Rockingham Parks and Recreation coach pitch softball league.

Nichols Performance Center, coached by Cole Nichols and Josh Peele, was crowned the 2019 tournament champion. The team was also the regular season’s co-champion.

The 11 members of this year’s championship team were: Shaniya Bailey, Brielle Broady, Aubree Brown, Hayden Chappell, Ava Claire Clark, Reese Clemmons, Brooklyn Norton, Kaylea Peele, Abbie Taylor, Madilyn Williams and Caroline Wright.
