PHOTOS: Lady Raiders vs. Southern Lee

ROCKINGHAM — Two goals in the second half of Friday’s match yielded a victory for the Richmond Senior High School girls soccer team.

Allie Rodgers and Mariana Gonzalez scored in the 54th and 68th minutes, respectively, to lead the Lady Raiders to a 2-1 win over Southern Lee High School.

The victory evened the regular-season Sandhills Athletic Conference series between Richmond and the Lady Cavaliers.

The Lady Raiders (7-4-2, 3-3 SAC) play at home Tuesday against conference opponent Pinecrest High School (5-6, 3-2 SAC). The match will start at 7 p.m.
