ROCKINGHAM — Resiliency was the name of the game for the Richmond Senior High School boys’ soccer team Thursday.

Ending a season-long losing streak, the Raiders managed to erase a late-match deficit and draw even with Jack Britt High School.

Playing on its home pitch, Richmond evened the score 1-1 in the 79th minute.

Senior Noah Gil, who was one of many Raiders to have open looks on frame, netted his team-leading third goal of the season with 1:59 left in regulation.

Splitting two defenders, Gil made a run into the box and blasted a 10-yarder into the net past the goalkeeper.
