PHOTOS: Renegades vs. Lee County

ROCKINGHAM — The Richmond Renegades lost to Lee County 15-11 on Wednesday.

After falling behind 6-0 through the first two innings, Richmond rallied to cut its deficit to 11-10 after six innings.

Senior Isaac Hinshaw had two hits and two runs batted in, and also pitched for the Renegades.

Also collecting two hits apiece were junior Riley Brown and sophomore Evan Hodges. Adding singles were juniors Davis Faw, Conner Phifer and Landon Taylor.

Richmond scored a solo run in the third, plated two runs in both the fourth and fifth innings, and made it a one-run game with five runs in the sixth. The team’s final run came in the bottom of the seventh.

Brown, senior Zane Searcy and junior Sam Thompson each contributed an RBI.

It will be a quick turnaround for the Renegades (3-3), who will travel to Western Harnett on Thursday. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
