ROCKINGHAM — Tickets for this week’s first-round football playoff game will go on sale Wednesday afternoon, Richmond Senior High School athletic director Rob Ransom announced.
The No. 4 Raiders, who won the Sandhills Athletic Conference for the third consecutive season, will host No. 5 Middle Creek High School on Friday.
It will be the team’s second home game of the shortened spring season.
Ransom said the gates will open to fans at 5:30 p.m., with kickoff between the Raiders (3-0) and Mustangs (6-1) set for 7:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased by using GoFan, an online ticket sales website. It’s the same website that’s been used to sell tickets for other Richmond athletic events.
Due to social distancing guidelines, only 1,000 total tickets will be available for Friday’s game. A certain number of those tickets will be sold to the families of players and coaches from both teams.
To help alleviate congestion and allow fans to enter Raider Stadium safely following COVID-19 protocols, Ransom said,“We ask that spectators have their tickets pulled up on their email when they approach the gate to enter.”
