ROCKINGHAM — Returning for the second year in a row is the “Thankful Raiders” video feature presented by the Richmond Observer.
This year has been challenging due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the high school sports scene is regaining some of its footing. Cross country and volleyball have begun playing competitively again, and basketball and swimming are right around the corner.
Should the high school athletic calendar continue to play out as scheduled, the late-winter and spring slates promise football, soccer, baseball, softball, golf, tennis, wrestling and track and field.
Several student-athletes, coaches and administrators at Richmond Senior High School joined in on this virtual presentation. Watch now to hear what each person is thankful for in 2020.
