ELLERBE — Audrey Faye Blackmon Cagle, 77, of Ellerbe passed away at FirstHealth Hospice House.
She was born on May 8, 1944 a daughter of the late Earl Blackmon and Maddie Frye Blackmon in Richmond County.
She worked as a creeler in the textile industry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Cagle; and son, Willie Richard Cagle.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Davis and husband James; sons, Tony Lynn Cagle and Melvin Eugene Cagle; sisters, Betty Joe Stubbs, Hilda Jean Sellars, Carolyn Gunner; brothers Wayne Blackmon, Michael Blackmon; and nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021 from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe.
A graveside service will be in Ellerbe Cemetery at 2 p.m. following the visitation.
