ROCKINGHAM — Benjamin “Ben” Seymour McLester, 34, of Rockingham, passed away, Sunday, July 18, 2021, at First Health Moore Regional, Pinehurst.
He was born in Anson County, June 25, 1987, son of Larrie Monroe McLester Sr. and Janet Gibson McLester.
Ben was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Lilesville. He was a self-employed landscaper and the “class clown.” He loved to make people laugh!
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 104 Church St., Lilesville. Pastor Jimmy Knotts will be officiating.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Gibson McLester.
Survivors include his dad, Larrie Monroe McLester Sr. (Shirley Mills) of Rockingham; brother, Larrie M. McLester Jr. of Rockingham; his aunts, uncles and cousins.
