HOFFMAN — Betty Jean Branson Sparks, 69, of Hoffman, passed on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020 at her residence.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service to follow at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at the Liberty Christian Church, 1810 Quewhiffle Road, in Aberdeen, with Pastor Bob Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery.
Mrs. Sparks was born on Feb. 16, 1951 in Pinehurst to Pozy Branson and Pearl Creed Branson.
She is survived by her son, Scott Sparks (Debra); a daughter, Michelle Ellerbe (Reggie); her mother, Pearl Branson; grandchildren, Stacey Sparks, Reggie Ellerbe, Austin Sparks; great-grandchild, Copper Talley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Sparks, in 2006. Also preceding her in death was her father, Pozy Branson, and several brothers and sisters.
