ROCKINGHAM — David Preston Chappell, 75, of Rockingham, passed away Jan. 28, 2022 at Richmond Pines Health and Rehab in Hamlet.
He was born May 15, 1946 in Richmond County, a son of the late Morris and Rena Chappell Greene.
Mr. Chappell was a machinist for American Trusler for many years till his retirement.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Surviving, his children, David Preston Chappell Jr. and Erica Chappell Jarrell; sisters, Colleen Floyd and Letha G. O’Neal.
