ROCKINGHAM — Devon Gage Blue, 16, of Rockingham, and also a resident of Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021 in Scotland County.
He was born Oct. 20, 2004 in Richmond County, a son Forrest Blue,Jr. and Krystl Brown Martinez.
Devon was going to be a junior this year at Richmond Senior High School. He would light up any room he came into, with his beautiful smile and infectious laugh and never met a stranger. He was loved by so many and will be remembered for his since of humor.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Hamlet with the Rev. Charlie Tyner and the Rev. Forrest Blue Sr. officiating.
Surviving, his mother, Krystl Martinez and husband Chris of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; his father, Forrest Blue Jr. of Charlotte; siblings, Tori Nicholson, Javon Blue and Jermel Blue; maternal grandparents, June Goldston and Charles Brown both of Rockingham; paternal grandparents, Forrest Blue Sr. and Della of Charlotte.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 4-6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
