HAMLET — Goldie Maxine Ulrich, age 82 of Hamlet, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019.
Goldie was born Nov. 10, 1937 in Bellwood, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Alfred Garman and Pearl Weierick Garman. She was the wife of the late Clifford Ulrich, who preceded her in death in 1994. She retired after working many years as a bus driver for the Bellwood Antis School System. She was a member of Stewartsville Baptist Church where she loved serving the Lord and singing in the choir. Goldie was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Sue Weller.
Goldie leaves behind her sons, Dave Ulrich of Florida, Mark Ulrich, Don Ulrich, Mike Ulrich, Louie Ulrich and daughter, Myra Conner, all of Pennsylvania; sister, Jeanette McCaulley of Pennsylvania; 13 grandchildren including, Amber Daniels, Kelly Peterson, John Ulrich; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 20 at Stewartsville Baptist Church. Goldie will be laid to rest beside her husband in Antis Cemetery, Bellwood, Pennsylvania at a later time.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 5 until 6 p.m. at the church.
