ROCKINGHAM — James Wayne Gibson,64, of Rockingham passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
He was born June 4, 1957 in Richmond County, a son of the late James Everett and Tida Lammonds Gibson.
Mr. Gibson was self-employed.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Green Lake United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. James Croke officiating.
Surviving, his wife, Rebecca Smith Gibson; a son, Michael Gibson; a brother, Billy Gibson and wife Katherine; and numerous of nieces and nephew.
Mr. Gibson will be taken home where the family will have a viewing on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 1012 Pickett St., Rockingham.
