HAMLET — Nancy Lee Brady Perkins, 70, of Hamlet, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at her residence.
She was born Sept. 29, 1951 in Hamlet, daughter of the late Horace Brady and Thetis Butler Brady.
Today, Nancy left this earth and began her eternal walk with Jesus Christ. She was the matriarch of her family, mother of many, and lover of all animals. She had a patience that knew no bounds and a loving spirit that was felt as soon as you met her. While she will be greatly missed, there is a great comfort in knowing that she is at peace. She was a true warrior and her battle is not lost.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Thetis Butler Brady.
Nancy is survived by her partner, Mario Olivera Jr. of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Jessica Perkins of Franklinville; grandchildren, Olivia Perkins, Ember Perkins, Liliana Williams, Deegan Williams, Michael Diaz, and Oriah Saylor; sisters, Dianne Richardson of Laurel Hill and Karen Leviner of Hamlet; and stepdaughters, Jamie Perkins, Maria Olivera and Angel Nelson.
All services will be held private.
