Deborah “Debi” Willett Hardy, 63, of Hamlet, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.
She was born June 8, 1960, in New Bern, daughter of Nancy Sadler Kirkley and the late Albert B. Willett.
Debi was full of life and tons of fun with her family and anyone who knew her. She had the biggest heart and would help anyone in need. She loved her dogs and treated them as her children. Her greatest joy in life was her family and friends, and she especially loved her nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert B. Willett; and brother, Jeff Willett.
Debi is survived by her mother, Nancy Sadler Kirkley (Vide) of Hamlet; sister, Telena Haywood (John) of Mount Gilead; brother, Bruce Willett (Janice) of Hamlet; beloved nieces and nephews, Tray Willett, Corey Willett (Paige), Katelyn Haywood, Chase Haywood, Christopher Willett (Jenny), Benjamin Willett, Amanda Willett and Aaron Willett; special great-nieces, Emma Willett and Caroline Willett; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews and extended family.
All services will be held private by the family.
