OBITUARY: Ernesto Alonso Morales

HAMLET — Ernesto Alonso Morales, 51, of Hamlet, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, South Carolina.

He was born Feb. 16, 1972 in Mexico City, Mexico, son of Ernesto Alonso and Laura Maria Morales.

He loved his wife, children and had his grandson wrapped around his finger.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Monica Salgado of the home; children, Monica Alonso (Yantuhan Morales) of Hamlet, Laura C. Alonso (Brandon Lockard) of Hope Mills, and Tyler Ernesto Alonso of the home; his parents, Ernesto Alonso and Laura Maria Morales of Mexico City, Mexico; brothers, Edgar Alonso and Dante Alonso, both of Mexico City, Mexico; and his well-loved grandson, Sebastian Morales.
